Wendys Charity Golf Classic
The Wendy’s Charity Classic is an LPGA Legends Tour Pro-Am and professional golf tournament that has raised over $2,000,000 for Wendy’s Wonderful Kids, the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption (DTFA), and statewide foster care adoption programs since its inception in 1999. It is the largest annual fund-raiser for adoption in the state of Michigan and the third fundraiser largest nationwide for the DTFA. Hundreds of volunteers, sponsors, area businesses, and adoption advocates support the event each year. This year’s event dates are August 10-11, 2014 and will once again feature 25 Legends of the LPGA teeing it up at the Country Club of Jackson.

 

Local Community Support
In addition to hosting premiere events such as golf tournaments and celebrity cook-offs, Stanton & Associates participates in numerous community support activities and fundraisers across the state. Naturally due to Wendy’s founder Dave Thomas’s avocation of adoption assistance, most of the proceeds from our participation in charities and fundraisers go towards supporting adoption services. In fact, Stanton & Associates raises hundreds of thousands of dollars each year for adoption agencies in the communities we serve.
